Hey guys, I hope you are doing well.

Let me get you in the loop with what it is I will actually be doing while on the World Race (even though I don’t know much and everything is subject to change… so maybe this assumption is way off, but we’ll see lol).

I am going on the Pacific Rim route which runs through Central and South America and Southeast Asia. This route is running as what they call a Hub Model meaning there are four hub countries (Nicaragua, Ecuador, Thailand, Cambodia) that we as a squad will all be traveling to. Our squad is everyone on the Pacific Rim trip (about 30 people). From each hub country different groups of people will travel to various other countries in the region, depending on needs. Every day I will traveling and working with my “cohort”, which is me and three other squad members. Here are the other “possible” countries: Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, El Salvador, Belize, Honduras, Columbia, Peru, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam.

Our sole purpose while on this trip is to “spread the love of Christ”. That will be the underlying foundation to everything I do but we will also be working alongside our communities in many other ways. Here are a few examples of what I will be doing: Community Outreach, Feeding Programs, Community Development, Church Activation, Building Projects, Manual Labor, Church Ministry, Unreached People Groups, Anti Trafficking Ministry, Discipleship, Sports Ministry, Evangelism, Church Planting, and Drug Rehab.

In addition to those things, we will be working with and ministering to many different groups of people. Here are a few of the specific groups I will be teaching and also learning from: Prisoners, Special Needs people, Sex Trafficking people, Refugees, Children, Students, College Students, and orphans.

God is gearing me up for some meaningful interactions. If anyone has experience with any of the above things I would love to hear your advice on success!

Take care
